Kissing penguins on the nose
Can be complicated unless done in tandem
But with kisses specific and not at random
Upon the shoulders of a man then who
must be a father and you must be a
child of him.

Kissing penguins on the nose
Can be complicated unless done in tandem
But with kisses specific and not at random
Upon the shoulders of a man then who
must be a father and you must be a
child of him.
A well meaning fisherman
his hat on backwards wears
so no hook has what to catch
as he fishes and swears
that to catch a fish
is all that he cares.
Passing
Intrigued, looking in the
passage way
Two women startled
conversation suspended
Passing
To forgive is not
to forget, deny or look the
other way. To forgive is to acknowledge, let go and move
on with life. The past cannot be
changed. It happened as it did
then one must move on in order
to live.
To forgive does not mean to
go back the way it was. It means
to move ahead with those that
you love.
To take the good and leave the
foolish behind. It is part of
moving on and understanding
the intent of what had happened
and what it meant.
Time and reflection on the
nature of forgiveness can
only open a window to the soul.
It is an opportunity to smooth
out the creases and let our
life unfold.
As absurd as this may seem
I opened up my brain and this
thought came flying in
Wink
Wink with my right eye and
not with my left
The child object of my train of thought
winked back with the right eye and not with the left
It happened so quick I thought it was a trick
Hmm perhaps she was just waiting
Who knew
I winked she winked
Then the question presented itself in my brain with a flash
Is is easier to wink with your right eye
if you are a righty OR
Is it is easier to wink with your left eye
if you are a lefty
I dissolve myself of any and all responsibility if you should choose to try this in front of a mirror….
(for all those expecting a poem this is
not one….it is merely a rain drizzling of thought)
Shiny chestnut coats
Soft noses snuffling
Manes flying in the air
shaking the flies away
throaty
snickering
munching hay.
