I was riding on my bike
and a voice cried out to me
“please help us, we are hanging from this tree!”
I quickly turned around
and what did I see?
Two little cute oranges giving a wink
saying ” Come have a bite of me.”
( sounds a little like the Garden of Eden)
I took a step closer
It was step of disbelief
with a sigh of relief
to know I wasn’t crazy
they were really talking to me
(I mean they could have been talking to someone else)
“Okay,” I said, let’s get down to business. What do you want me to do ?”
“Just reach up and put us in your pack. We want to go to your house and take a little nap”

So I did.

I just got talked into it

but it really wasn’t intentional at ALL.

Weather forecast is fairly benign
You look out your window
I will look out mine
dreary rain
scattered sunshine
with a chance of mud

Streaked windows
Rivelets of water
in and out

Perhaps a little change
is something that could read

“Weather: slightly interesting
with a chance of Bugs
Big and Little
don’t you nevermind
crawiling, appalllllling
all whilly nilly in a
line raining and crashing
and rolling about …..”

Now that would be
something to write
no doubt.

IF you are wearing your sadness
You should wear it
Outside in the sun
where there is no place to hide

If you do you will see
there are other people
sitting there
Sunning their sadness

Just like you.

But if it is raining….

just don’t talk to anybody

go back to bed

if you are not feeling deadly in the morning
you can wake up and try again.
