I love you more than furniture
I love you more than things
that is why I am coming to visit you
On those things with wings
I am going to come and hug and kiss you
And do somersaults on your bed
I loved you when you were a baby
I love you even more now
It is just that you have grown up
And sometimes things are not so simple
But it is important to say
” I love you more ” than anything in my own special way
and hope that you will carry that thought inside
touching the place where it sits
