Seagulls soaring
boats tugging at their moorings
Anxious to go out to sea

When you are here
It seems like yesterday
at one of the many beaches
in our lives

distance keep us apart

A state of indecision
and need for change
everywhere I turn
is going up
going down or
round and round
losing my time
losing my days
don’t know where to
turn
looking for answers
and none can

with my eyes closed
face to the sun
nobody anywhere
just the only one
Wind at my back

The fullness of
the day
as the petals open
to the sun
